Manta Scuba Diving opened its doors to divers more than 23 years ago in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as an adventure dive shop, dedicated to the exploration of the underwater world at the southern Sea of Cortez.
At Manta, we customize our service to your dive vacation plans. If you are a new diver, novice, or expert, we will arrange dive sites and dive profiles appropriate for your level of training and experience. Our Dive Service has been tailored to ensure that from the moment you check-in, you will have the best diving experience and feel at home with Manta. Just relax and enjoy diving with new friends, sharing the spectacular scenery above and below the water.
All our guides are certified PADI instructors and Divemasters; they all have plenty of experience diving, guiding, and teaching at the sea of Cortez and around the world. Everyone at the Manta team will be happy to share their experience with you.
Safety starts at the small details to prevent a dangerous situation. Therefore we make sure all our equipment is up-to-date, well maintained in excellent working condition.
We have all the necessary safety and emergency equipment. Our staff is trained in Rescue, First Aid, and CPR. Our air is clean and tested regularly.
The Manta team is an excellent team of friendly people who enjoy diving and sharing diving experiences with other divers.

Since opening the small shop many years ago, Manta has grown much and moved to the marina. Manta is now a 5-Star PADI Dive Resort operating 4 custom-made dive boats. The Manta facility has a dive training pool, showers, changing rooms for the wetsuits, and even two air compressors on-site, including Nitrox mixing. The dive gear is maintained in excellent working condition, and the air is inspected regularly by Trace Analytics in Texas, USA.
As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, Manta offers a range of dive training and certification courses, from beginner courses to GoPro Divemaster Internships, all conducted in the spectacular environment of the Los Cabos Marine Park.

Over time, we have had the opportunity to assist our locals in various ways, including supplying food and water after storms, conducting beach and underwater cleanups, and more.
As a support to our Local Fire Fighters Department, we have been happy to supply the Air for the Firefighters’ Air-Tanks for 9 years now, as a modest act of help with no charge.
We appreciate their commitment to the safety of the Locals and Tourists in our region.
Every time we see them on the road or in neighborhoods, we feel happy and grateful that we could help them, even if it is only about supplying the Air in their Tanks!
