“The best Instructor”

My boyfriend and I were vacationing in Cabo San Lucas and wanted to scuba dive. Manta was one of the only places we found that offered scuba times in the afternoon which was why we decided to go with them and that ended up being one of the best decisions we made. Ginger was our dive master and she was amazing. She was incredibly patient with me (I was the one that did everything she told us not to do and it took a few times to get things) and very knowledgeable. Never once did she lose patience or seem annoyed. Once we were under water she made it a point to show us all of the sea life. We saw a shark, eels, sea lions, and so many cool fish and a shipwreck! Talk about a great first dive! We can’t wait to take our certification and come back to scuba with Ginger and the rest of the Manta team!

My goddaughter and I wanted to get certified. Neither of us had done scuba-diving before, although we’d both snorkeled. (She’s 20, I”m 59.) We booked the three-day training and didn’t know if it would be just us, or seven other people also. It turned out to be just the two of us with Ginger Carter. She was terrific, very attentive, and very clear in explaining everything, sometimes multiple times. We really felt we learned a lot and she was excellent at helping us underwater and making herself understood. We decided to take another dive once we were certified, on the fourth day, and Ginger took us around the area where we’d mainly been practicing our skills. We came away feeling like we sort of kinda knew what we were doing. Thanks, Ginger!.
